"A fusion of R&B, gospel, and Irish music that sounds so natural and obvious it makes you wonder where this music has been all this time." Keyboard Magazine
Dublin Soul is a new project put together by keyboardist, singer, and songwriter Eamonn Flynn. Last summer Eamonn (keyboardist on the 14 million-selling soundtrack of The Commitments motion picture) and fellow Commitments alumnus Conor Brady (guitar) reunited to play at the Porretta Soul Festival in Italy. Dublin Soul also headlined UniteSF—the post-St. Patrick's Parade celebration in San Francisco—where they were joined by the legendary Glide Ensemble Gospel Choir, and singers Tony Lindsay (Santana) and Omega Rae (Van Morrison). Their set included tributes to two giants of Irish music: Shane MacGowan and Sinead O'Connor. Dublin Soul brought the house down at Porretta Soul again in July 2024, along with Commitments singer Andrew Strong.
Stay tuned for more shows and guests to be announced.
